Register for our very first A/ Sides Tour – This Sunday!
We never thought it would happen but spring is finally here and, to celebrate, we’re teaming up with our pals at Campus WheelWorks to debut FOUR new tours for the 2019 Season. Each Sunday in June at 1PM, we’ll host a different tour that meets up at Campus (774 Elmwood Avenue).
This Sunday, June 9th marks the debut of a brand new tour, The A/Sides Ride: The Best of Buffalo By Bike. On this tour, we’ll learn about Buffalo’s heavy hitters – from wild Erie Canal stories to the Pan American Exposition and the city’s world-class architecture. We’ll visit Downtown, Elmwood Village, and Delaware Park, and bring these places to life through story, song, and an insider’s perspective.
Introduction to Buffalo history and how it has shaped the city we know today.
Jaw-dropping architecture: the Guaranty Building, Electric Tower, and Richardson Complex.
Buffalo’s amazing (and bike-friendly) parks and the legacy of Joseph Ellicott and Frederick Olmsted.
Key sites of the Pan American Exposition and the assassination of President William McKinley.
Experience Buffalo by bike – the most fun and best way to see the city!
In addition, we’re doing a fun promotion – for all those who sign up in advance, there will be a special gift given at the end of the ride (hint – it may have something to do with chocolate). Registration for this Sunday’s ride is free! Donations greatly appreciated at the end of the tour.
